The Slug was inspired by a bag of oranges being sold on I-95 in Miami, FL. After years of iteration and a journey to Japan to source its luxury denim, the Slug 1 was released on September 30th, 2024.

The Slug’s minimal, elemental components make it complete—remove any part, and it’s no longer a Slug.

Denim from Kojima, Japan, represents skin—wearing and fading with time, growing more beautiful. Leather from Espelette, France, symbolizes muscle—strong, resilient, and discolored with use. The 100% Japanese cotton cord reflects the Slug’s essence, moving with you.

The stainless steel eyelets represent the Slug’s eyes, scratching with use, marking time. The leather strap, minimal with no stitching, mirrors nature’s seamless design. The CNC-machined, mirrored buckle is the Slug’s heart, with a subtle logo appearing through negative space.

Made for natural movement, the Slug’s luxurious materials are not for protection, but to embrace life’s journey, whether in the mud or on the move.

At 15x5x5 inches, the Slug is perfectly proportioned for the human body—ergonomic, balanced, and ready for any activity, from running to meditation.

For each model we shoot, we document the entire process as part of the "Slug Story." Slug is rooted in the exploration of self and personal journeys. Each model is chosen for their natural authenticity—whether it’s what they do every day or something special to them. It’s their story, with the Slug simply riding along.

These stories are captured through photos, videos, and copywriting.

The website serves as both an e-commerce platform and a showcase for Slug Stories. Its minimalist design allows the color and content to speak for the brand. The site is the heart of the brand, where our work communicates the message—not flashy, distracting design. With clean, white space and legible fonts, the layout is straightforward and user-friendly. Play buttons in the home page galleries ensure easy navigation. The site is universal, with fewer words and more impactful images and videos. Only the essential elements are included. Discipline
